We were able to take a family hike today in Tilden Park up in Berkeley. We saw a red tail hawk, a steam train, wild rosemary and fennel bushes, lots of eucalyptus trees, and pinecones big as your head. We brought home a few pine cones to add to our autumn nature table. I wasn't sure this was allowed so I was really sweating it on the way back to the car.
